Today, @rbgsoundtrack had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of the founders of Seattle’s New Age BRP (Black Revolutionary Party) @nabrpSeattle. In an age of media sensation and conscious brothers literally in constant debates over the accuracy of African history, it was refreshing to see the grassroots community outreach of this group, reminiscent of the activities of the original Black Panther Party.
Watch them reach out to neighbors in Seattle, Washington who may have been suffering from power outage due to bad weather. The brothers connect like family and pass out sources of lighting free of charge. This is how you rally community.
